Dear Disgruntled Wal-Mart Shopper,
I am sorry that yesterday was a poor display of tantrum etiquette for you and your family. Some things that should be brought to your attention need to be addressed publicly.
ONE! - While I understand it's an easy thing for a mother to go shopping with her three OLDER children, for me - single parenting it right now with three SMALL children under 7, it's worse than brain surgery on an earth worm. It's nearly impossible. So while you make yourself comfortable throwing ugly glances in my way, know I'm praying your face freezes like that PERMANENTLY! That look is something even Mary Kay herself couldn't fix. So *pppffftt*
TWO! - Before you threaten me with someone kidnapping my kids... I'd like to have someone JUST TRY IT. My kids would be returned faster than you could even remove the panties you got in a wad over watching my children flail and scream on the cold linoleum floor.
THREE! - Believe it or not, lady, you are the exact reason my kids act up in public. You gave them the attention they were pining for, so *bravo* nut job mother, *bravo*
FOUR! - While you stand there gawking and passing blame, you could have been a bit sympathetic and noticed I was traveling alone, without a shower recently, and a few broken food items in my cart from trying to maintain my children. It doesn't help that you are judging my parenting skills when I'm sure just a decade ago - you were rocking some seriously bad bangs and spandex - and dragging your kids behind you kicking and screaming too. Think about that one...
-Now- If you read this, and somehow I really hope you do, please feel free to leave an apology. In the meantime, the rest of the world is going to get a big fat dose of my temper and I'll leave it at that.
Sincerely,
The "Terrible" mother from Wal-Mart who risked her kids getting kidnapeed...
Amy
