Easy Access to Makeup

I'm so tired of having to dig for one eye shadow or wonder if I have what I really need. So, thought occurred to me, I wanted to stick it all up on the mirror so I could find it all... but that's not practical. Then, a piece stainless steel sheet framed like I've seen Kandee Johnson do. But I have far too much makeup for that and I don't have the ability to do such a craft at this point. I considered painting cookie sheets and mounting them, which still may not be a bad idea... but the biggest I could go and could still hide behind a door???

AN OIL DRIP PAN!

At Wal-Mart my pan was $9.97 and the magnet strips were .97 for 18 strips about 3" long. Pretty good deal. All I did was measure a strip to the desired legnth of makeup item and cut it with craft scissors and stick it to the back. Easy peasy.
Next step, 3M velcro wall mounting strips. I got the LARGE ones. I used the whole box, two pairs on the back to mount it to my wall. Then, mount to your wall and put your makeup up!

I am still trying to figure out how to finish it. Maybe mod podge the top where the oil drip company is at the top and make a collage? Paint it all a fun plum color? Not sure - but excited to see where this totally goes!
