Life can be full of pills - and sunshine

Every morning and every night, I wake up to the least delightful part of my day. Ok, wait. I lied. My workout is the least delightful part of the day, however the workout will hopefully get me some results to my ailing body. So, back to the initial idea. My least favorite thing to do, is to choke down my prescriptions. I'm attaching pics of what I take now, but not too long ago, amounts like this were doubled. Something like 27 pills is what I was taking. Now I'm not taking that many, but it still sucks. It feels like I've been playing the switch-eroo on meds for so long that nothing is going to work. But, I have to have some morsel of faith, that with patience and time, this new doctor will be able to help me out.

The other thing that weighs on my mind is returning to work. I need to work to help sustain this place. We are falling behind and it sucks because we did more than okay while I was working. Knowing that I still get triggered by hearing certain key words or seeing certain things is not something I want to present to my employer upon returning from a long leave of absence for this situation, but finances are what they are.

I am blessed enough to have a wonderful group of people I call friends, and even better, another group called the best friends. They're the best people on the planet, who are loving, giving, kind, supportive and know how to pick you up. I have more of the best friend kind than the "friend" kind, but for them I am grateful. You make my life a better and more joyful experience. Thank you

Funny side note. My best friend, Judy and I have been working on a coffee filter wreath for quite some time. And when I say quite some time, I mean ohhhhh 7 months now? We couldn't find time to sit and craft together and it sat collecting dust. So, I started some more work on it again, and in my endeavor to get this to be a lush, expensive looking wreath, I am making the most obese and tightly packed wreath ever. However, with my children I need DURABLE - and this is such the case. The natural coffee filters that I use are that wonderful warm brown. I love this wreath but I think I'm going to stick it in Grace's bare room once I am finished until I can afford some teenager designs. There are plans to mist it with dark brown paint to give it depth, and while it's in her room, put hot pink butterflies on the wreath so it will match her chocolate and hot pink room. I hope she loves it.

I need to end this long post - but I'm leaving a reminder of what I need to write about next.... Otherwise I forget! Ha ha ha ha! ~and I just forgot~ oh well!

Thanks for sticking by me, friends. Nice to know you're there reading, following along with me and my crazy adventures.

  1. Oh sweety, I know exactly (exactly!) how you feel... at least you are better about taking your meds on time... it's now after 12:00pm and I have yet to take mine! We both are on the right track to living a happy fullfilling life... and I know we can do it! Don't stress about work yet, give yourself this month to grow stronger and everything will turn out... it always does. You are my star throughout this journey, and your experience is guiding me through a dark tunnel... so when I have nothing else to hold on to or follow... I now have a friend in you to show me the way, and assure me that I am not alone. If anything positive comes from all this, (and I know down the road you will have even more insight as to the "why's" and "how come's") please assure yourself that you are giving me hope, and that is the biggest blessing I could receive from you! xoxo, holli
